What are the designer role in shaping meaningful spaces for dialogue? Following my publication “Making Dialogue”, which focused on listening, empathy and the foundations for dialogue, I undertook a study of dialogue spaces in educational settings. How can flexible spaces encourage student engagement?
If learning and community are powerful drivers of transformation, both individually and collectively, then we can question the role of design in these dynamics. This is why I am currently continuing my research into community as fertile ground for sustaining social and environmental values.
